The Ostomy Appliances Program provides financial support for the purchase or replacement of ostomy-Definition supplies, such as ostomy bags (pouches). The financial assistance is paid out once per year, and the amount is determined according to the type of stoma: permanent or temporary.
Veterans Affairs Canada
Provides pensions for disability or death, financial support in the form of allowances, health care benefits and services to members of the Canadian Forces and Merchant Navy veterans who served in the First World War, the Second World War, Korean War, and the Vietnam War *certain civilians who are entitled to benefits because of their wartime service; former members of the Canadian Forces (including those who served in Special Duty Areas) * the Royal Canadian Mounted Police * survivors and dependents of military and civilian personnel.

Assistive Devices Program
The objective of the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) is to provide consumer centered support and funding to Ontario residents who have long-term physical disabilities and to provide access to personalized assistive devices appropriate for the individual’s basic needs. Devices covered by the program are intended to enable people with physical disabilities to increase their independence through access to assistive devices responsive to their individual needs.
